Homework expectations

Homework will be written in their Homework Planner each day.

Homework will be 10-15 minutes of review work to support what has been worked on in class.

In addition, student’s are encouraged to read 20 minutes per day.

The purpose of homework is to have some independent practice related to classwork and have the responsibility of completing and returning the work.

Create a homework-friendly spot.

Have the needed supplies readily available.

Schedule a regular homework time.

Eliminate distractions.

Let them take responsibility. You can answer questions and provide some assistance, but make sure they do the work.
